Finding the right therapist is crucial, if we’re the right fit we’ll continue with a 60 min assessment. We will go through many questions so I can better understand your therapy needs and goals.
This is also an opportunity for you to get to know me and more about my therapy style. In order to be thorough, this process can take up the duration of two sessions.I want to acknowledge that this is a vulnerable process, so thank you in advance for showing up with courage and trusting me with your care.

Once a treatment plan has been established, we will begin the journey of meeting your treatment plan goals through consistent individual therapy sessions.
I typically recommend starting with weekly sessions which last 45-60 minutes in duration, depending on insurance coverage, tapering down in frequency based on treatment progress and/or client preference.

In-person & Virtual
Therapy Sessions
There’s something powerful about sitting across from someone, in real time, in a shared space. As humans, we’re wired for connection—it’s how we’re built. In-person therapy taps into that natural wiring, creating a grounded, relational experience that’s hard to replicate through a screen. The subtle things—body language, eye contact, a calming presence—help deepen trust and foster a felt sense of safety. For many people, that in-the-room connection can be a key part of the healing and growth process.
But it’s also hard to deny the convenience—and sometimes the necessity—of virtual therapy. Whether it’s a packed schedule, distance, or just feeling more at ease in your own space, online sessions offer flexibility without losing the heart of the work. That’s why I offer both in-person and virtual therapy, so you can choose the setting that supports you best.
Insurance Coverage
I am currently in-network with Maryland Medicaid and out-of-network with all other insurance carriers.
Out-of-Network:
Your care deserves to be guided by your needs, not insurance policies. Working outside of insurance allows us to create a therapeutic experience that truly honors your story, pace, and goals.
This is a self-pay option for clients with private insurance or no insurance. Payment is due at the time of each session, and I’m happy to provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. I encourage you to contact your insurance provider to learn more about your out-of-network benefits.
Maryland Medicaid:
For clients with Maryland Medicaid, I am an in-network provider and able to bill directly to your insurer. I will verify your insurance is active during our phone consultation and complete any necessary authorizations at intake. You are responsible for maintaining active enrollment with your insurance provider.
My Rates:
Intake Session - $200
Individual Sessions - $185/session
Sliding scale fees are available for a limited number of spots based on financial need. Please inquire for more information.
